We provide project-based strategic technology consulting on a limited basis to individuals, Global 1000 Companies, and Research Universities, as well as publicly-traded and privately-held technology companies. Typical engagements include:
- Recommending whether licensing, outright sale, or formation of a new venture is the most appropriate path to commercialization for a given collection of intellectual property held by a University or Corporation.
- Evaluating the market opportunity and "freedom to operate" for a particular University-based technology, negotiating licenses to bundle additional intellectual property where appropriate, and writing and/or implementing an appropriate Business Plan.
- Evaluating strategic alternatives for technology companies in transition, including recommending sale of products or technologies, or acquisition of complementary products or technologies through in-licensing or merger with another company.
